Breaking: Csont’e York’s Assault Caught on Video

Obtained by MLive.com, Csont’e York’s reason for being excluded from fall camp is now crystal clear: He sucker-punched a guy, breaking his jaw in three places, per MGoBlog, which just posted the video.

See for yourself. York’s actions should have been grounds for immediate dismissal. There is no place for such behavior within Brady Hoke’s program. None.

Hopefully Hoke does the right thing and boots York, who’s lucky that he didn’t cause more damage to the victim, who violently tumbles to the concrete after being struck.

According to a statement relayed by MGoBlog, York said that he was simply defending himself after being elbowed in a crowd.

Via MGoBlog:

“A group of dudes walked by and bumped me,” he told police. “He was (so) close to me that he elbowed me as he walked by.”

During the altercation, York said one of the men “walked up on” his teammate,, according to the report.

“He pressed up on him face to face exchanging words for no reason,” York told police. “I got (nervous) and scared about the situation so I hit the guy. I punched him.”
